Policy and Procedures
Policy
- Date Deposit $150 must be paid in full in order to secure a reservation.
- 3-hour minimal rental
- A copy of renter’s photo ID and a credit card must be on file. If a credit card is not on file an additional security deposit of $150 must be paid by cash, check, or money order and will be returned following the event if there is no damage found. Credit Cards will be billed the $150 fee if damage is found.
- Renters are strongly encouraged to obtain their own insurance coverage for liability for their event. Renters are not covered by the Industrial Acropolis liability policy.
The consumption of Beer and Wine beverages is permitted with permission of the Industrial Acropolis.
The renter agrees to all the following expectations regarding Beer and Wine:
- All state and other laws must be strictly observed.
- There shall be no drinking of alcoholic beer or wine in the parking lot or anywhere outside the third floor.
- The security deposit will be forfeited, or credit cards charged $150, if any underage person(s) are found to be possessing alcohol (beer or wine) at any time.
- Anyone who appears to be inebriated will not be served.
- A drink limit will be implemented. Moderation is crucial.
- Non-Alcoholic beverages must also be available.
- Designated drivers should be available to anyone who appears inebriated.
- Renter assumes all liability for any claim or action related to their event, including those claims or actions that may result as a result of the consumption of alcohol.
* * *Alcoholic (liquor) beverages must be provided by a bartender or caterer who holds all required licenses. * * *
Decorating:
- All decorations, inside and out, must be removed.
- NO gorilla, duck, or heavy duty TAPE or GLUE DOTS. No adhesive foam or double sided tape.
- NO hot glue on the walls or tables
- You may not put holes in any walls.
- At no time is Renter allowed on a ladder. The manager must supervise and complete all decorating work on a ladder. If you need ladder work, Renter must notify the manager 2 weeks before your event.
- The use of raw rice, glitter, and smoke is prohibited, and any such use will result in a forfeiture of the security deposit.
- $15 additional cleaning charge for confetti balloons or use of confetti.
- $30 Wall Repair Fee
- Spills should be swept and/or mopped.
- Soda and beer, including bottles and cans must be removed before leaving the event.
Miscellaneous:
- A representative will be present at opening and closing and may remain on site during your event.
- No live animals will be allowed on premises (excluding service animals)
- All guests attending the event shall remain within the designated areas.
- The manager will be permitted to photograph the event during the event so long as the event is not disrupted.
- The guest client's numbers may not exceed the occupancy.
- Any damage to Industrial Acropolis property or neighbor’s property must be reported immediately. Repair and or compensation for the damage is required.
Cancelation Policy:
- Any Cancellation prior to fourteen (14) days will be refunded or held for a future event.
- Any cancellation of the event less than Fourteen (14) days prior to the event will result in the forfeiture of the security deposit.
Payments:
- Security deposit and all other invoices can be paid by Cash, Cash App, Venmo, Money Order and Check.
